I met Kim from The Only Way Is Grooming a few months ago at a dog first aid course. From the moment I met her she was so friendly and welcoming, and you could immediately tell from her 6 years of grooming experience that she has a huge amount of knowledge in the industry.

I passed my Level 3 in January and I’m now at the stage where I’m starting my own grooming business. Kim and I exchanged numbers and she kindly invited me to visit her salon to observe and shadow her.

It was incredibly helpful. Kim was so friendly and generous with her time, sharing her knowledge and experience about the equipment and products she uses in her salon. I really enjoyed spending time with her and seeing what it’s like to run such a successful grooming business. It’s given me a lot of hope and inspiration for one day having a successful salon of my own.

Kim is a great teacher and I’m sure she’s going to do amazingly well in her next chapter of teaching grooming. I was especially grateful that she allowed me to come into her salon, particularly as I’m currently 8 months pregnant. She explained everything so clearly and made the whole experience really enjoyable.

I really appreciate how humble and genuine Kim is
as a person. She was so open about sharing her techniques and knowledge and showed me a lot of different methods that I hadn’t been taught before. I loved seeing the structure of how she works and how professional her salon is.
